Shannon Noll is an Australian singer-songwriter who gained national recognition as the runner-up on the first season of Australian Idol in 2003. After gaining national recognition as the runner-up on the first season of Australian Idol in 2003, Shannon Noll launched a highly successful recording career, signing a five-album deal with BMG Australia. His debut single, ‘What About Me?’ (January 2004), immediately soared to number one on the ARIA Singles Chart for four consecutive weeks, becoming Australia’s highest-selling single of 2004 and certified 4x platinum. This was quickly followed by his debut album, ‘That’s What I’m Talking About’ (2004), reaching number one on the ARIA Albums Chart and achieving 5x platinum certification.

Diversifying his portfolio, Noll made his theatrical debut in 2007 as Parson Nathaniel in ‘Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of the Worlds.’ In 2012, he released his autobiography, ‘Shannon Noll: So Far.’ Noll joined ‘Dancing with the Stars Australia’ in 2012 and starred on ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ in 2018.
