Shiksha Jain is not just a name in Indian junior golf; she’s a beacon of hope for aspiring athletes. At just 12 years old, she has already carved her niche, ranking among the top three girls in her age category in India. Her journey began with a simple love for the game, but it quickly transformed into a rigorous commitment. Training 10 to 11 hours a day under the guidance of Dronacharya Awardee coach Jesse Grewal, Shiksha blends technical skills, fitness, and mental conditioning, preparing herself for both national and international competitions.
With over 105 tournament victories to her name, including prestigious events like the IGU and US Kids tours, Shiksha has received more than 230 invitations to compete globally. Each tournament is a stepping stone, a chance to learn and grow. Recently, she secured first place at the NCR Cup and second at the IGU Maharashtra Championship, showcasing her relentless pursuit of excellence.
But it’s not just about the accolades. Shiksha dreams of representing India at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, a goal that fuels her daily grind. She believes in the power of sport to inspire, especially for young girls from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. Her story is one of determination, resilience, and the unwavering belief that dreams can be chased, no matter where you start.
