Nathan Girvan

Nathan Girvan, born on November 6, 2002, in Forfar, Scotland, began his darts career around 2010. He quickly established himself in the youth circuits, topping the Scotland Youth tables in 2016 by securing eight titles. His early career saw him competing in the British Darts Organisation (BDO) where he demonstrated significant potential. In 2017, he reached the final of the BDO World Youth Darts Championship, a tournament where he also distinguished himself in the semi-final against Maikel Verberk with a 170 checkout. Despite losing the final to Justin van Tergouw, this performance marked him as a rising talent in the sport.

Girvan continued his progression, reaching the final of the BDO World Youth Darts Championship again in 2019, where he was defeated by Leighton Bennett. Transitioning to the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) in 2021, he further developed his skills, participating in various PDC events. A notable achievement during this period includes winning a PDC Development Tour event on May 7, 2022, securing prize money of £2,000. He also reached the final of the 2022 PDC World Youth Championship, ultimately losing to Josh Rock, reinforcing his standing as a competitive player within the youth categories of professional darts.

His career statistics reflect consistent participation across different tours. He has accumulated career prize money of £42,670 and holds a PDC Order of Merit ranking of 160. Currently, he is ranked 25th on the PDC Challenge Tour and 75th on the PDC Development Tour, actively competing in these circuits to advance his professional career. Girvan’s journey includes reaching the Last 160 at the PDC UK Open in 2023 and participating in the group stages of the Grand Slam of Darts.
