Hands-down one of the most notorious Latin trap artists in his native Panama, rapper Shyno’s hard-hitting lyrics are garnering worldwide attention. The ‘Padre Nuestro’ and ‘Tatiana’ rapper’s verses go just as hard as international superstar Bad Bunny’s do, and with a co-sign from Reggaeton legend Nicky Jam , millions of YouTube Views and millions of downloads on Spotify, Shyno is quickly becoming one of the genre’s biggest stars.

The talented Panamanian rap emcee – who is of Chinese descent – has been the centre of controversy thanks to his full-on lyrics about sex, drugs and violence, and he has stood out from the crowd since exploding onto the scene nearly a decade ago with his irreverent style and insane flow. The rapper now has numerous hit tracks under his belt, including ‘Mary Jane’, ‘Soy Un Buay Cool’, ‘No Soy Como Los Demas’, ‘Angel y Demonio’, ‘En Cuarentena’, ‘Ave Maria’ and ‘Tatiana’. The shocking video for 2019’s Padre Nuestro – featuring a blood-soaked Shyno in a bathtub – has been viewed more than 6.3 million times on YouTube.

Shyno dropped his highly anticipated debut album Never Legal in 2017 and followed up with 2020’s Canciones Viejas e Ineditas de Shyno. Nicknamed by many as the new “God of Trap”, he is now one of the artists with the most influence and growth on social networks, leading his “Young and Wild” movement.
