Stunning model and television personality Simone Holtznagel shot into the limelight when she finished as runner-up on season 7 of Australia’s Next Top Model. The Aussie’s breath-taking good looks and incredible figure landed her plenty of work starring in campaigns for the likes of Playboy, Guess, Bras N Things, Honey Birdette and more. Holtznagel has also become a familiar and popular face on Australian television, appearing on the fourth season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2018 and on Channel Seven’s First Dates in 2020. In February 2022 television viewers saw another side to the beautiful star when she battled it out on one of reality TV’s most gruelling shows, SAS Australia.
Hailing from Wollongong, New South Wales, Holtznagel quickly became a fan favourite on season seven of Australia’s Next Top Model in 2011, narrowly missing out to winner Montana Cox. She also became close to Next Top Model judge Charlotte Dawson, who took Holtznagel under her wing as she made her way in the fashion industry. Dawson tragically committed suicide in 2014, and television viewers saw Holtznagel movingly open up about the heartache of losing her close friend and mentor when she appeared on I’m a Celebrity in 2018. The young model took time to come to terms with the devastating loss of her friend, and admits she drank heavily for months after the tragedy but stopped when she remembered Charlotte’s belief that Holtznagel would go on to become a superstar.
Holtznagel recently proved just how tough she is both mentally and physically after appearing on SAS Australia, overcoming anxiety and self-doubt to compete on the show.
