Sofia Wylie

Sofia Wylie, born on January 7, 2004, in Scottsdale, Arizona, began her career in performing arts at an early age, training extensively in dance from five years old and later in acting at the Second City Training Center in Hollywood, California. Her early visibility included appearances on “So You Think You Can Dance” in 2011 and 2016, and “America’s Got Talent” in 2015. These experiences provided a foundation for her transition into acting, marking her presence in the entertainment industry with a series of notable roles.

Wylie rose to prominence with her starring role as Buffy Driscoll on the Disney Channel series “Andi Mack,” which aired from 2017 to 2019. During this period, she also expanded into film, making her debut as Cory Bailey in the 2019 Australian film “Back of the Net.” Her work with Disney continued, notably with vocal roles as Riri Williams/Ironheart in the Marvel animated series “Marvel Rising” and “Spider-Man.” In 2019, she took on a lead role as Gina Porter in the Disney+ series “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series,” a role she maintained until 2023. This period also saw her star in the web series “Shook,” produced by Mark and Jay Duplass, which garnered an Emmy nomination.
