Stormy Daniels

Stephanie A. Gregory Clifford, known professionally as Stormy Daniels, was born on March 17, 1979, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was raised by her mother and graduated from Scotlandville Magnet High School in Baton Rouge in 1997. Daniels’ early experiences included working as a phone answerer at a riding stable during high school. Her initial exposure to stripping occurred at age 17, which led to her working at the Gold Club in Baton Rouge and becoming a featured entertainer with Continental Theatrical Agency by September 2000. Her stage name, Stormy Daniels, was inspired by Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx’s daughter, Storm.

Daniels’ career in the adult film industry began in 2002 with scenes for Sin City and Wicked Pictures. She quickly gained recognition, winning the Best New Starlet Award from Adult Video News in 2004. Since 2004, she has also taken on directing roles for Wicked Pictures. Her filmography includes performances with notable figures such as Randy Spears, Julian, and Brendon Miller, to whom she was briefly married. Daniels has been inducted into several industry halls of fame, including the AVN Hall of Fame in January 2014, the XRCO Hall of Fame in April 2014, and the NightMoves Hall of Fame in 2007. Her directorial work has also received significant industry acknowledgment.

Beyond her adult film career, Daniels has made several mainstream appearances. She was featured in the films “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” (2005) as a ‘Porn Star’ and “Knocked Up” (2007) as a lap dancer. She also appeared in a 2007 episode of the FX Network series “Dirt” and in a 2009 episode of “Party Down.” Daniels gained extensive media attention, including appearances on “Saturday Night Live” in 2018 and Maroon 5’s music video for “Wake Up Call.” In 2018, Daniels embarked on a “Make America Horny Again” tour, which included appearances at strip clubs, and was honored with the key to the city of West Hollywood on “Stormy Daniels Day” in May 2018.
