Street Bud is the up and coming new rapper on the block best known for being the winner of season four of the hit reality show from Lifetime, The Rap Game, in 2018 when he was just thirteen years old- he is the youngest winner in the shows history. Since then, this young man has gone from strength to strength, and released two studio albums full of high energy wonderfully stylized beats that certainly mark him as a rising star.
Bud began his musical career in 2015, when he started to post original music to his own YouTube channel, also called Street Bud. What started out as a fun hobby quickly became a huge passion for Bud, and he recorded his first song age eleven before releasing his first mixtape in 2016 under Kidchella Entertainment, titled Get Cha Mind Right. Relying on YouTube to spread the word, his audience grew exponentially- he now has over 154,000 subscribers and boasts a staggering 7.2 million views on his content, not to mention his 516,000 followers on Instagram.
Following his success on The Rap Game, Bud was scouted by Migos superstar Quavo, who signed him to his label Huncho Records early in 2019 after his television victory and the budding rapper appeared on Quality Control’s Control The Streets Volume 2, released later the same year. Bud went on to release a second album, titled Back 2 The Lab, featuring artists such as Quavo, Lil Donald, Doonk, Dayytona Fox and more, and most recently, he released a new music video for his upbeat bouncy track Open House, featuring Quavo and sitting at nearly a million views on YouTube.
