A sassy actress, producer, director, writer, vocalist, and musician, Susan Lanier-Bramlett is most known for her roles in the original cult classic film The Hills Have Eyes in 1977, the sitcom “Welcome Back, Kotter” in 1975, and Cut! In 2014. Whether she is appearing on Broadway opposite the legendary Tennessee Williams, or on the big screen with Wes Craven, or even on television alongside John Travolta, Lanier is a force to be reckoned with. She was also the actress that originated the role of Chrissy Snow in the iconic series pilot “Three’s Company,” starring John Ritter, Joyce DeWitt, and Suzanne Somers.
After appearing in numerous off-Broadway productions, TV commercials, and indie films Lanier-Bramlett relocated to Los Angeles in 1974. She made a number of guest appearances on shows such as “Barnaby Jones,” “Dyna Girl,” “Electra Woman,” “Alice,” “Police Woman” and “Eight is Enough.” She continued to act in movies of the week such as, “Madame X.” Lanier-Bramlett had a recurring role on the long-running soap opera “Days of our Lives.” She also featured with Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen on “So Little Time.” In 2003, she performed in the Los Angeles version of “Last of the Honky Tonk Angels.”
Lanier-Bramlett went on to work as a portrait photographer for periodicals, book covers, and record covers after her acting career. Backstage West named her one of the best ten photographers in Los Angeles in 2005.
