Taiwan Williams

Josh “Taiwan” Williams is a professional hip-hop dancer, teacher, and mentor, recognized for his appearances in major television shows, music videos, and live performances. Born in California, he later returned to the state in his late teens to pursue a career in dance. He gained mainstream attention as a finalist on America’s Got Talent. His extensive work includes being a featured dancer in major music videos, such as Pharrell Williams’ ‘Happy’ and Jason Derulo’s ‘Trumpets.’ He has also appeared on television shows like ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ and in television advertisements for brands including Desperados and Time Warner Cable.

After establishing himself as a teacher, Williams achieved a significant milestone by coming close to a top 20 finish on the eighth season of ‘So You Think You Can Dance.’ He continued his pursuit of excellence in dance competitions; his dance crew, Goodfellas, reached the callbacks for ‘America’s Best Dance Crew’ and secured a win at Collaboration. Williams has also been recognized with individual choreography awards. His career progression led him to Los Angeles, where he signed with MSA Talent Agency.

Following his move to Los Angeles and signing with MSA Talent Agency, Williams quickly began dancing behind prominent artists such as Pharrell, Chris Brown, and Jason Derulo. Concurrently, his presence on YouTube grew, with his dance videos set to contemporary music consistently garnering thousands of views shortly after being uploaded. He currently teaches at Millennium Dance Complex and mentors for KreativMndz Dance Academy. His online classes are available on platforms like Tmilly TV and STEEZY Studio, expanding his reach as a dance educator.
