John Patrick De Sena, known professionally as Jack De Sena, was born on December 6, 1987, in Boston, Massachusetts. His family relocated to Irvine, California, in 1999, where he attended Irvine High School. During this period, De Sena developed his comedic skills as an active member of the international ComedySportz troupe, an improvisational comedy team. His early career saw him join the cast of Nickelodeon’s sketch comedy series “All That” at the beginning of its seventh season in 2002. His work on the show earned him a tie with Logan Lerman for the 2005 Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series (Comedy or Drama) – Leading Young Actor. This early success established his presence in the entertainment industry.
De Sena gained significant recognition for his voice acting work, particularly for his role as Sokka in the critically acclaimed Nickelodeon animated series “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” which aired from 2005 to 2008. His ability to deliver ad-libbed lines contributed to his character’s comedic appeal. Following “Avatar,” he continued to expand his voice acting portfolio, taking on roles such as Prince Callum in the Netflix animated series “The Dragon Prince,” which ran from 2018 to 2024. His work in animation showcases a range of expressive vocal performances. In addition to his voice work, De Sena maintained a presence in live-action television, appearing as Mr. Roberts in “100 Things to Do Before High School” from 2014 to 2016.

Smith, producing comedy sketches since 2016.
