Best known for having been part of the American reality television series on Bravo, Below the Deck Season 7, Tanner Sterback’s role on the show was that of the deckhand. Sterback was always very passionate about traveling and learning about new cultures. He was always a free spirited, athletic boy from Sayville, Long Island. After Sterback graduated, he moved to California to pursue a carefree life and to be able to surf. Sterback also worked as a lifeguard at the Coppola Winery, but then he decided to trade the surf and sand for charter yachts in order to make a more stable career for his future. Sterback believed that this career would allow him to also pursue his dream of traveling and exploring new cultures. Not long after he got certified, Sterback was hired as a deckhand on private yachts which allowed him to sail along the east coast and the Caribbean. He got to travel across the US within a year in a van with his dog Tito. It was his desire for adventure and his qualifications as a deckhand that brought Sterback the idea of joining the crew members of Below the Deck on Season 7. This season was filmed in Thailand, which was the farthest Sterback had ever been from his home. Apart from traveling and exploring, Sterback also loved the idea of modeling. Due to his appearance on Below the Deck, he was able to rise to fame and began collaborating with brands via his Instagram page, in which he now has over 82 thousand followers.
