Tecia Pennington, also known as Tecia Torres, is an active mixed martial artist competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Women’s Strawweight division. After achieving an undefeated amateur mixed martial arts record of 7-0, Tecia Torres transitioned to professional competition, securing multiple amateur titles including MMA Solutions, US Freedom Fighter Championship, and American Battle Championships in 2012. Her foundation in martial arts began with Taekwondo, where she earned a black belt after twelve years of training, followed by an impressive amateur Muay Thai record of sixteen victories and four losses. Torres also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Florida Atlantic University (2010), and furthered her education with a Master’s degree in Criminology from the same institution (2017).
