Thomas Joebstl is an Austrian Nordic combined skier. Joebstl is a seasoned athlete with many international successes under his belt. Between the years 2018 and 2019, he secured a total of seven podium spots from the Continental Cup. Four of these spots were first place positions. During his career, Joebstl has also secured quite a few Alpen Cup first place podium spots and has competed at the World Cup several times as well.
Born September 22nd, 1995, Joebstl knew he wanted to be a professional athlete from a very early age. Joebstl had his first FIS event start in 2010. After a few years of hard work and extreme dedication, he began earning himself podium spots at the Alpen Cup. After proving his worth at the Alpen Cup, Joebstl made his debut at the Continental Cup.
2018 was an important year for Joebstl’s career. He not only earned his first two first place podium positions at the Continental Cup, he also made his debut at the World Cup. Since 2018, Joebstl has steadily improved his already near-perfect performances. In 2018 Joebstl finished the World Cup with an overall ranking of 70th, and in 2020 he finished with an overall ranking of 17th. With his track record, one could only imagine where he will take his career from here.
