Tiffany Copeland

Tiffany Copeland was born in Jupiter Farms, Florida, and developed an early interest in marine life, particularly manatees. She pursued her passion by studying marine biology at Florida Atlantic University. Following her degree, she gained experience in various marine-related roles, including working on dredge boats, serving as a Marine Endangered Species Observer, and instructing children on marine biology in the Florida Keys.

In 2015, Copeland shifted her career focus, inspired by a suggestion to become a stewardess to learn about yachting. This led to her working on a 115-foot boat. Her adventurous spirit prompted her to successfully audition for Bravo’s reality series, “Below Deck Mediterranean.” As a third stewardess on the yacht ‘Ionian Princess’ during its inaugural season in 2016, she gained international exposure while traveling across the Greek islands. The experience involved demanding 18-hour workdays for six weeks, and she engaged in the show’s dynamic environment, including initial conflicts with Chief Stewardess Hannah Ferrier, which later evolved into friendship.

After her time on “Below Deck Mediterranean,” Copeland obtained her captain’s license. She continued her yachting career with a season in Italy and a stint on a 41-foot sailboat, followed by another mate position in the Bahamas. In 2017, she met fellow marine biologist Evan Jones in Saint Lucia, and they married in Asheville, North Carolina, in October 2020. They have one child and currently reside in Stuart, Florida. Copeland maintains a strong commitment to marine biology, with a particular focus on manatee rescue and conservation.
