Brad Williams is an American comedian known for his stand-up act. His talent has led him to appear in many television shows and films. He started his career by chance after attending a Carlos Mencia show and was invited on stage. He wowed the crowds and Mencia himself, so much so that Mencia invited him on tour and has been his opening act ever since.
He has had an active career since 2005. In early 2011, Williams released a full-length comedy album called Coming Up Short, the first of its kind for the comedian. In 2014 he started hosting the About Last Night podcast with comedian and actor Adam Ray. Williams had his first one-hour comedy special, called Brad Williams: Fun Size on Showtime in 2015 and his second one-hour comedy special, Brad Williams: Daddy Issues aired in may 2016. Williams is a frequent guest and a close friend of the show The Kevin and Bean Show, broadcast in Los Angeles, California. He appeared on Kevin and Bean’s “April Foolishness” comedy show in 2012, 2013 and 2015 alongside such comedians as Bob Saget, Jay Mohr, Jim Jeffries, Bill Burr, and Eddie Izzard. Williams is proudly the only comic to receive a standing ovation on those shows.
Williams was born with achondroplasia. This aspect of his life plays a large part in his comedy shows but certainly has not held him back in his quest for stardom. He has recently starred as himself on the hit Netflix show, The Degenerates.
