Social media influencer Toddy Smith is a YouTube star who rose to fame on Vine. Smith also appeared on Season 4 of reality show Sweet Home Alabama, and has so far amassed over 1.5 million followers on TikTok and over 1.21 million subscribers on YouTube, where he makes hilarious prank videos, vlogs and other content often with his fellow roommates Zane Hijazi, David Dobrik, Scotty Sire, Elton Castee and Heath Hussar.
Born Todd Eric Smith, the online star began his career working in different bars around California where he practised the flair and showmanship he would later showcase in his videos. In 2013 he posted his first video on the short form video hosting platform Vine, titled Dat 151 run. The clip soon went viral and his number of followers went through the roof, with Smith becoming rated number 21 in the most talented Vine stars of all time.
Smith later transitioned to the world of long format videos on YouTube, posting his first video on the site in 2015. The following year his upbeat, funny videos caught the attention of online viewers once more and his following began to grow towards the million mark.
In 2019 Smith published his first book I’ll Give You a Dollar If You Consider This Art, co-written with Darren Nuzzo and based on the diary entries of the two best friends.
