Trent Garett

Trent Garrett was born on March 2, 1984, in Hampton, Virginia. He attended Gloria Day Lutheran School, Hampton Christian Middle School, and graduated from Grafton High School in 2003. Garrett briefly attended Liberty University before pursuing an acting and modeling career. He moved to Los Angeles around 2004, where he began performing in plays such as ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and ‘Oliver Twist’. His early aspirations also included a career as a professional soccer player, reflecting his athletic background.

Garrett’s acting career began with television roles, including Asher Pike in 91 episodes of ‘All My Children’ (2010–2011) and Brad in ABC Family’s ‘Make It or Break It’ (2012). His film credits include Austin Banks in ‘Boost’ (2016) and Mr. Cool Guy in Netflix’s ‘Army of Thieves’ (2021). Notably, he gained recognition for his recurring role as Bowie Quinn on the Disney Channel series ‘Andi Mack’ (2017–2019), a role that became a main character in Season 3. He also appeared as Wes in five episodes of ‘Splitting Up Together’ (2018) and John in two episodes of Hulu’s ‘Maggie’ (2022).

Beyond acting, Garrett has expanded his career into production and directing. His producing credits include short films like ‘Fear the Fog’ (2023) and ‘Click’ (2023), and he served as a producer for two episodes of ‘The Four Mothers’ (2022–2023). He is also slated to co-direct ‘A Murder Between Friends’ (2025) and produce ‘A.I. Heart U’. Garrett is also a co-founder of Next Generation Storytellers, an initiative aimed at mentoring high school students in the film industry, alongside Jacob Young.
