Victoria “Tori” Spence is a celebrated New Zealand stage and television actress, best known for her iconic role as Salene in the acclaimed Cloud 9 television drama, The Tribe. Spence made her acting debut in the 1993 film Jack Be Nimble, showcasing her talent early on. She further honed her skills in the teen comedy series Atlantis High, where she impressively portrayed dual roles, Antonia and Anthony. Her versatility was also evident in her appearance in William Shatner’s A Twist in the Tale, alongside her Tribe co-star Ryan Runciman.
During her high school years, Spence actively participated in various theatrical productions, taking on leading and supporting roles in plays such as The Joker and Memory. Her dedication to the craft led her to star in numerous television commercials and work as a stills photographic model before landing the pivotal role of Salene at just 14 years old.
