Vin Baker

Vin Baker is a former NBA All-Star and Olympic Gold Medalist who now serves as an assistant coach for the Milwaukee Bucks, sharing his extensive basketball knowledge and experience. After being drafted as the 8th overall pick in the 1993 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks, Vin Baker went on to establish a distinguished professional basketball career marked by multiple All-Star selections and an Olympic Gold Medal. Prior to his NBA entry, Baker excelled at the collegiate level for the University of Hartford, where he earned a spot on the North Atlantic Conference All-Rookie Team in 1989. He concluded his college career with a school record 2,238 points, averaging an impressive 27.6 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 3.7 blocks per game by his junior year, leading to his jersey, number 42, being retired by the Hartford Hawks.

Beyond his coaching role, Baker is dedicated to philanthropic endeavors, having established the Stand Tall Foundation to support young people, and actively shares his journey of recovery to inspire and assist others.
