Vincent van der Voort, born on December 18, 1975, in Purmerend, Netherlands, is a professional darts player also known by his nicknames “The Dutch Destroyer” and “Grease Lightning.” He began his darts career in 1985 and has been recognized for his quick throwing style, earning him the temporary moniker “The Fastest Player in the World.” Van der Voort’s career spans both the British Darts Organisation (BDO) and the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), showcasing his presence in major darts events for over two decades. He has regularly participated in the PDC World Championship since 2008 and is a three-time World Championship quarter-finalist.

Van der Voort’s achievements include winning the Denmark Open in both 2002 and 2006 during his BDO career.
