Wasim Badami was born on February 7, 1985, in Karachi, Pakistan. He embarked on his career in media in 2006. Initially, Badami started by providing traffic updates on radio while attending university. He then worked as a researcher for Business Plus channel. His dedication led him to join ARY News in 2006, marking the beginning of his career as a journalist and anchorperson. Over the years, he has gained recognition for his hosting abilities and professional demeanor.
Badami is widely recognized for hosting “Shan-e-Ramzan” during Ramadan transmissions and his television program “Masoomana Sawal.” His signature talk show, “11th Hour with Waseem Badami,” on ARY News is also a significant part of his career. He briefly transitioned to BOL Network in October 2014 as an Executive Vice President and Senior Anchorperson but rejoined ARY News in April 2015, where he continues to host his popular shows. His career also includes hosting the cricket-related show “Har Lamha Purjosh,” particularly during the Pakistan Super League.
Demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit, Badami expanded his professional endeavors in 2017 by partnering with Hemani Herbals to launch his organic products and skincare brand, “WB,” named after his initials.
