William Hope

William Hope has established a robust career as an actor across film, television, and voice work, known for roles in iconic franchises and significant productions. After an extensive theatre career, William Hope achieved a career-defining role as Lt. Gorman in James Cameron’s Aliens (1986), a part he chose over a major role in Stanley Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket. Prior to this breakthrough, Hope dedicated seven years to theatre work, including three seasons with the National Youth Theatre in London, and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).

During this period, he concurrently became a resident artist for the BBC, performing in over 100 radio plays, showcasing his versatility and deep foundation in dramatic arts. This period laid the groundwork for his prolific on-screen and voice acting career. Hope built on this success with consistent appearances in a diverse range of productions throughout the subsequent decades. His filmography includes a role as Kyle MacRae in Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988), Shining Through (1992), The Saint (1997), XXX (2002), and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (2004).

Peterson in Two Neighbors (2025), a voice role as narrator in Back to the Frontier (2025), and Richard in Scotty, which is currently filming for a 2025 release.
