Yung Yogi, also known as Gus Farias, is a Los Angeles-based rapper and former co-vocalist of the band Volumes, known for his distinct style and collaborations within the hip-hop scene. After achieving international success as co-vocalist for the hard rock/metal band Volumes, Yung Yogi, also known professionally as Gus Farias, made a significant transition, establishing himself as a distinct voice in the contemporary hip-hop scene. His tenure with Volumes provided foundational knowledge and extensive exposure to the music industry, solidifying his early career. Farias then pivoted his artistic direction, embarking on a new path in 2015 by releasing his initial rap tracks on SoundCloud under the moniker Yung Yogi.

This move quickly showcased his signature sound, characterized by a bold style, aggressive flow, and unique aesthetic that set him apart in the evolving hip-hop landscape.
