Zach Svajda

Zach Svajda is an American professional tennis player known for his strong performances in Challenger events and consistent progression within the ATP Tour. After winning the USTA Boys 18s National Championship in 2019, Zach Svajda secured a wildcard entry into the US Open main draw, becoming the youngest male player to compete since 2005. Svajda had earned his first ATP Tour ranking point in 2018, defeating top-seeded João Lucas Reis da Silva at the Claremont Club Pro Classic. His US Open debut included a notable five-set match against Paolo Lorenzi.

In 2021, Svajda successfully defended his Boys 18s National Championship title, leading to another US Open wildcard. Ranked world No. 716, he achieved his first Major win by defeating world No. 81 Marco Cecchinato, before a close four-set match against Jannik Sinner in the second round.

During the Winston-Salem Open, he delivered a strong performance, defeating the third seed Francisco Cerúndolo, further highlighting his competitive prowess against higher-ranked opponents. In July 2025, Svajda secured his maiden grass-court title at the Challenger 125 Hall of Fame Open. This significant victory saw him defeat Adrian Mannarino in the final, a win that propelled him back into the top 200 of the singles rankings.
