The amazing Zuri Hall is an Emmy-award winning TV personality, host, entertainment reporter, actress, producer, and activist. She is best known for her work as a correspondent on NBC’s Access Hollywood, and for NBC’s primetime competition show American Ninja Warrior. She also fronts the partnership between Access Hollywood and the Black & Missing Foundation.
Born and raised in Ohio, Hall grew up with a love for theatre and attended the Ohio State University to study Strategic Communication and Theatre (acting). After graduating she became the first woman to win the position of Face of MyINDY-TV at WNDY-TV in Indianapolis. She went on to cover events, starred in station PSAs, and interviewed celebrities. She was also an on-camera host and producer of the channel’s local daytime talk show Living Dayton. She worked as an official MC for a number of baseball teams, including the Indiana Pacers of the NBA, the MiLB’s Indianapolis Indians, and the WNBA’s Indiana Fever. In 2013 she anchored Nightcap News at KDAF-TV Dallas, and then moved to New York to take a position at FUSE TV. She worked for MTV, and from 2015 to 2019 was a fill-in anchor and daily correspondent for E! News. In 2019 she joined NBC as a correspondent for Access Hollywood and as a sideline reporter for American Ninja Warrior. She has also hosted Miss USA since 2021.
