Acclaimed house producer A1B has launched his own record label, the eponymous A1B Records.

 
The DJ and producer, known for his solo work and as one half of Laszlo Dancehall with Leon Vynehall, launched the A1B Records label last week with its first release being the Part 1 EP by label boss A1B himself.

 
The EP sets the tone for the label, which A1B told Data Transmission would “focus on sample driven house music with a nostalgic nod to my main influences over the years.” It’s a busy time for A1B the man, with the second release from his label on the way, and more music from Laszlo Dancehall coming up soon. The duo recently played a Boiler Room set to much acclaim, and their next production is likely to be well received by fans of their sound.
 

 
After releasing music on such esteemed labels as Dirtybird, Gruuv and Pets Recordings, A1B has inside knowledge of successful house labels in action. No doubt he will put this knowledge to use when crafting and curating the A1B catalogue.
