The DJ Jazzy Jeff-assembled group The PLAYlist has released the album Chasing Goosebumps to widespread critical acclaim.

DJ Jazzy Jeff’s annual Playlist Retreats have become the stuff of legend in the beatmaking world. The Philadelphia DJ brings together hundreds of expert and aspiring DJs, producers and other artists to work on their craft together and collaborate on new creations.

The result of his latest Playlist endeavour is the studio album Chasing Goosebumps by The Playlist. The Playlist is a group comprised of a who’s who of modern R&B producers and performers, including The Roots’ James Poyser, songwriter-producers Dre & Vidal, recent TDE signee SiR, Eric Roberson, Eric Lau, and many more. Holding it all together, of course, is DJ Jazzy Jeff himself, and vocalist Glenn Lewis. The album was recorded over a breathtaking seven days.

The album has received universal acclaim since its release, with critics from Beat Junkies, Neo Soul Cafe, The Beat, The Key, Fist in the Air and many more lavishing the album with praise.
