Faze Action’s Simon Lee is behind Resident Advisor’s Mix of the Day today, Wednesday 8th February

Faze Action DJ Simon Lee’s 5-hour mix has been featured today as Resident Advisor’s Mix of the Day for Wednesday 8th February 2017.

The set was recorded live at London listening bar Spiritland less than a week earlier, on 3rd February. It features a plethora of Funk, Disco, Boogie and House tracks from the likes of Shina Williams & his African Percussionists, Fingerman, Al Kent, Gasper Lawal, King Sporty & the Ex-tras, and many more.

Simon Lee and his brother Robin, known collectively as Faze Action, had a killer 2016. The boys were nominated for Best Indie Dance/Nu-Disco Act at 2016’s Best of Beatport Awards – an award for which fans and professional DJs pick the winners together. Faze Action narrowly missing out on a top spot in the final round.

This nomination came off the back of the African-inspired Mangawa EP with Zeke Manyika, and Robin Lee’s solo release By Nature under the name Ruby’s Midnight Machine.
