Italian house legend Joe T Vannelli continues to be one of the most prolific names in the scene, and this month sees him push things forward with a new website and a GRAMMY consideration push for his latest single.
His new website at www.joetvannelli.com features all his latest content, from details and recordings from his Supalova parties to his Slave To The Rhythm radio show and podcast to his Dreambeat Recordings label and DJ dates.
Meanwhile he is on a Grammy nomination consideration drive for his new single ‘Dance Shout Turn Around’, which features vocals from Grammy nominated artist, producers and songwriters, Helen Bruner and Terry Jones. Collectively, they have featured on tracks by Gloria Estefan, Celine Dion and Method Man & Redman, and several Billboard #1s. They bring a powerful vocal to the track, whose video you can see below. The track is the first taste of his forthcoming artist album, set for release in Spring 2016.
Vannelli’s Slave To The Rhythm show celebrated its 500th episode this summer, and is broadcast on Italy’s biggest dance station m2o as well as on stations in United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Sweden, Netherlands, Red Sea, Spain, Bulgaria, Argentina and Greek. His ‘Supalova’ compilation was released this summer, and he also made his debut at Tomorrowland.
Other successes in recent years include a Beatport House #1 for his Eartha Kitt rework ‘Where Is My Man’, a Beatport Electronic #1 and Pete Tong Essential New Tune for Hot Since 82’s rework of his classic + Csilla collaboration ‘Play With Vanelli’, which was retitled ‘The End’.
