Drum and bass pioneer turned electronica star DJ Rap is the latest name to join the MN2S booking agency.
Emerging amidst the nascent rave sounds of the late ‘80s / early ‘90s, she helped showcase and forge the sound of UK hardcore and its consequent evolution into jungle and drum & bass. She also broke new ground by becoming one of the world’s first major female DJs in an era when DJing was far from a level playing field.
She signed to Sony as a recording artist, providing vocals for her own productions, with three albums to her name to date. She guested on tracks in the latter half of the 1990s by the likes of BT and Art Of Trance as her sound developed into house, trance and electro territories. She has also worked as an actor, model and voiceover artist.
2014 saw her tour the UK and US, and she has recently been working on a slew of new drum & bass material for her label Propa Talent for release this year.
