We caught up with MN2S Label Services client Kirk Coleman to hear about the journey his label has taken since it was founded 15 years ago, and their new single from the late Angel Moraes.
How long has the label been in operation?
“We have been around for over 15 years, starting in 2006.”
How would you describe your musical philosophy and creative vision?
“We are pigeonholed by genres. Open to different styles. Basically music that makes you want to shake your ass!”
Tell us about your first release – what was special about that one?
“Our first release was Roy Davis Jr– Good Life – interestingly had a remix by Angel Moraes. Positive message that still rings true today!”
What’s been the highlight of your journey so far as a label head?
“Just love getting feedback from people who enjoy the music. Was in Miami a few years ago, bumped into someone from Japan and said he was a huge fan. That makes it worthwhile!”
Tell us about your latest release from Angel Moraes and why it’s so significant.
“Angel Moraes’s Harmony feat. Tonia is a beautiful house track nearing completion. Sadly, Angel passed before it was finished. We still wanted to release the track and so we decided to reach out to producer friends to get it finished and then release it in time for Xmas and give 100% of all proceeds back to Angel’s family estate.”
“For those who did not know, Angel was a legendary house producer, master of sound, sound systems and co-founder of legendary Montreal after hours club Stereo. A teenager who first got his love of dance music at the Paradise Garage, and he never looked back. Song is really fitting and needed in the divided times we are living! We all need a little more Harmony!”

What lies ahead for your label in 2021 and beyond?
“A lot of big releases are coming in the new year! Darius Syrossian, Steve Lawler with a remix by Tripmastaz, Tommy Vercetti, George Smeddles and more in the works!”
