Artist Spotlight: TOROK Revolutionizing Music Scene | MN2S

Building a sound that makes you feel something

Ontario-born producer and DJ TOROK has spent years developing a sound that sits at the intersection of emotional depth and dancefloor energy. Growing up surrounded by music, he was drawn early into electronic music by artists like Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Swedish House Mafia, Avicii, and Afrojack, acts whose records carried both power and feeling in equal measure. After starting out as a DJ, he began producing and eventually built the TOROK project from there, driven by a single conviction: music should connect people, not just move them.

Today, that vision has expanded well beyond the studio. Alongside his artist output, Brandon runs Torok Music Marketing, helping independent artists grow their careers, and the SKYHOUSE Sessions rooftop event series, which is now expanding into new cities. He recently joined MN2S Label Services to support the next phase of TOROK Music Group’s development.

From “The Way” to the world

Brandon’s first official release, The Way, arrived when he was still finding his production voice. Technically unpolished by his own admission, it nonetheless earned early support from Jeffery Sutorius (formerly of Dash Berlin) and marked a turning point. Hearing his own music played live for the first time and watching people respond confirmed everything.

“That feeling hooked me instantly and made me realise this was something I wanted to seriously pursue long term.”

What’s in the pipeline

The release TOROK is most excited about right now is Baila Más Cerquita, out on TOROK Music Group. A Latin crossover record built on deep afro percussion and summer energy, it has already picked up support from THEMBA, Shiba San, Dark Heart, KINREE, and others a strong early signal for what is shaping up to be one of his most globally influenced releases to date.

Beyond that, the pipeline is full: collaborations and originals featuring artists and vocalists from across the world, a busy summer festival schedule, and more SKYHOUSE Sessions rooftop events as the season heats up.

Sound in his own words

Ask Brandon to describe a TOROK track and the language he reaches for is emotional first, technical second. His records blend melodic atmospheres, strong percussion, uplifting energy, and vocals designed to connect music built around memory as much as movement.

“I want my music to feel like a memory people can attach to whether that’s a rooftop party at sunset, a festival moment, or a late-night drive. I always ask myself whether the record makes people feel something, not just dance.”

Advice for emerging artists

For artists starting out, Brandon’s advice centres on patience, consistency, and the parts of the industry that often get overlooked until it’s too late.

“A lot of artists quit too early because they compare themselves to everyone else online. I also wish I understood earlier how important branding, networking, and marketing are alongside making great music. Talent matters, but building real connections and understanding how to position yourself is just as important today.”

Working with MN2S Label Services

Brandon came to MN2S for its global network and its reputation for understanding both the creative and commercial sides of independent artist development. What has stood out so far is the quality of communication and a genuine long-term approach.

“The team genuinely seems invested in helping artists grow long term instead of treating releases like one-off campaigns — and that’s something I really value.”

With a packed release schedule, expanding live events, and a sound that is reaching further into global territory, 2026 is shaping up to be TOROK’s most ambitious year yet.
