MN2S joins Berklee's Company Spotlight 2026 Industry Partners | MN2S

MN2S Joins Berklee’s Biggest Spotlight Yet on 21st of May

Berklee’s Company Spotlight, the annual online event where leading music businesses connect directly with students to share insights on their models, hiring practices, and current openings, returns in 2026 with its largest and most international lineup to date. Building on the remarkable momentum of last year’s edition, which saw over 30 companies attend and triple the participation of previous years, this year’s event welcomes an expanded cohort of partners spanning distribution, live, publishing, technology, and beyond.

Among the new participants joining for the first time this year is MN2S Label Services, a full-service provider offering global distribution, royalty management, neighbouring rights, marketing, playlist pitching and creative strategy, all under one roof. With over two decades of experience supporting independent labels and artists at every stage of their release journey, MN2S has grown from a grassroots passion project into one of Europe’s most trusted names in independent music.

Where It All Began

MN2S was not built from a corporate blueprint but from a genuine love of music: two brothers making tracks and finding, as so many artists do, that creating was only half the battle. “We were just making music for the love of it,” says Sharron Elkabas, CEO of MN2S. “But it was frustrating not having an outlet to get that music out there. Not even for the money, but just to share it with people.” That founding frustration became a mission: to remove the barriers that stand between creative talent and the audience it deserves.

A Proven Track Record at Berklee

Organised by the International Career Center (ICC), the 2026 edition continues to build on last year’s success, which not only offered students an unparalleled window into contemporary music businesses, but directly resulted in multiple students securing roles across the European music industry, including three students hired by Musiversal and one Global Entertainment and Music Business student who secured an internship at Peermusic.

This year’s sessions will again be divided across three online workshops, with 60–70 students engaging each session via Zoom. In addition to company presentations, students will have the opportunity to join breakout rooms for more intimate, one-on-one conversations with industry professionals, a feature that participants have consistently praised as one of the event’s most valuable elements.

MN2S and Music Education: A Growing Partnership

For MN2S Label Services, the Spotlight is a natural extension of a track record already being built across the UK education sector. Their relationship with LCCM runs deep: in March 2025 the MN2S team delivered a guest lecture titled Building Your Label and Your Brand, covering digital distribution, branding, social media strategy and PR. They have attended LCCM’s Careers Day and Freshers’ Week, and the partnership produced the inaugural MN2S Music Business Award, recognising an outstanding graduating student with mentorship and a behind-the-scenes visit to the Ministry of Sound offices. More recently, MN2S partnered with Sound Collective to further support the next generation of artists.

Across all of it, the aim has been the same: to make professional-grade industry knowledge available to students at the earliest possible stage of their careers. From two brothers making music in a bedroom to a global service provider trusted by hundreds of labels, MN2S understands from first-hand experience what it feels like to have talent without access. That is precisely the gap they have spent two decades working to close.

What This Means for Students

The ICC looks forward to seeing what new relationships emerge from this year’s event. Past editions have proven that the Company Spotlight is more than a networking exercise. It is a genuine launchpad, with students leaving not just with contacts, but with real offers and a clearer sense of how the industry works. The addition of MN2S Label Services to the 2026 roster further cements the event’s reputation as a destination for companies that take emerging talent seriously.

Berklee’s Company Spotlight remains a cornerstone of the ICC’s mission: to provide students with professional development experiences that equip them with the skills, relationships, and confidence to thrive in their chosen music careers. With over 100 job and internship opportunities shared in 2025 alone, expectations for 2026 are higher than ever.

A Message from MN2S

“At MN2S, we’ve always believed that the gap between education and the industry shouldn’t exist. Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of working closely with institutions like LCCM and Sound Collective, delivering guest lectures, attending careers days, and seeing first-hand just how much talent is coming through music education. What excites us about partnering with Berklee is the scale and ambition of its student community. These are artists who are serious about their craft, and we want to make sure they have access to the same tools, knowledge and support as anyone signed to a major. We’re not just here to talk about the industry. We’re here to open doors into it. Events like this are a fantastic way for us to put our skills and expertise to work in the most meaningful way possible: empowering the next generation of artists to reach their full potential.” — Megan Blythin, Marketing Manager, MN2S
