Artist Spotlight: Mute Diver | MN2S

Mute Diver is carving out a distinct space in the deep house scene with a sound that’s both introspective and rhythmically driven.

What began as an experiment on Sony Acid soon evolved into a creative calling, shaped by a blend of formal training and self-guided exploration. Her debut single Hyperdrive set the emotional tone she’s continued to explore, leading to her most ambitious project yet: the album Ghost Notes. Now partnering with MN2S on distribution, Mute Diver is poised to bring her exciting vision to new audiences through live shows, fresh releases, and bold collaborations.

How did you get into music? What is your musical background?

I’ve been a big fan of dance music for a while now. I started listening to Alesso and other DJs and I was really inspired to create something an identity of my own. Then, I started learning to make music with a program called Sony Acid. From there, I began to learn the creation process and really enjoyed making music people could resonate with. I received a lot of good feedback. My musical background is based on learning on my own, by ear, and through an arts academy for music and sound design.

Tell us about your first release – what was special about that one?

My first release was with a label called Beige music. They released a song called Hyperdrive. It was really special because I felt like that song was something people could feel on a deep emotional level and I was really pushing myself to create a distinct sound.

Tell us about the latest project you worked on?

My latest project is a big one for me. It is an album I’ve been spending a lot of time with. It’s an album called Ghost Notes. On this album I’m trying to push creative boundaries. I hope people will enjoy it and appreciate the sound and context of the album.

Could you describe your musical style and creative vision?

My musical style is mostly based on deep house dance music. I like to get creative and infuse different genres at times, and blend the melodies together creating something intrinsically brand new. My creative vision is unique and progressive. It is mostly based on my own inspiration, and what I find inspiring and motivating at the time.

What advice would you give to anyone thinking of entering the music industry?

I would tell them that they should dedicate a lot of time to it. It is about passion and learning to push yourself creatively. It’s about creating and persevering through your hard work, but most of all learn to use your time wisely and have fun with what you do and the confidence to keep going even if you are rejected at first. If it is what you truly love, don’t give up, someone will reach out and help you along the way.

What are your plans for the rest of the year and beyond?

Well, I plan to release a deep house album, create a merch line for my brand, and go on tour because I know my fans would love to come out and listen to a live set.  Hopefully, I can get signed to a bigger label, like Ultra Music, because I know I was on their radar a couple years ago. I also plan to collaborate with a few different artists.

What have you enjoyed about working with MN2S Label Services?

I like the fact that they like my music and reached out to me. They gave me an opportunity to release music with them and I think that with their partnership I could promote my music on a bigger level.
