Founded just prior to the pandemic, MN2S Label Services client Beat-Room Records specialises in jazz-infused, jackin’ house music, crafted with love. We caught up with label heads Maurizio and Stefano to find out more about the label’s journey so far and their plans for the future.
How long has your label been in operation?
The label was launched in 2019.
What inspired you to set up the label in the first place?
We set up the label to have the possibility of being able to best express ourselves, musically speaking.
How would you describe your musical philosophy and creative vision?
Our philosophy is the search for new sounds – to wander without limiting ourselves in that vast universe called music.
Tell us about your first release – what was special about that one?
Publishing your own product is always exciting, music allows you to express who you really are.

What’s been the highlight of your journey so far as a label?
I believe it is always important to undertake a good or bad path – in any case it is always magical to be able to do what we like, it makes us free.
What advice would you give to anyone thinking of setting up their own imprint?
It’s essential to arm yourself with originality, never limit yourself, and never follow models you’ve already seen elsewhere.
What lies ahead for your label in 2024 and beyond?
Many new products, new sounds – we hope it will be a journey full of musical emotions!
