Davido and Lil Baby join forces to release a new video for the single “So Crazy”, taken from Davido’s latest album A Better Time.
The Nigerian pop artist Davido and Atlanta rapper Lil Baby have shared a new video for their latest collaboration, “So Crazy.” The lively and entertaining track gives off a carefree summer vibe as the video, filmed in Los Angeles and directed by David Wept, centres on a pool party setting. The track was produced by Nick Papz and Xander. “So Crazy” appears on Davido’s latest album, A Better Time, which was released November 13. This project follows last year’s breakout album, A Good Time. After becoming one of the world’s leading afrobeats artists, David has worked with not only Lil Baby, but thirteen other stars, including Nicki Minaj, Tiwa Savage and MUGEEZ.
According to a statement said by Davido, he and Lil Baby have known each other for several years and built a steady friendship. Davido states that “when you are collaborating on a record, you need to make sure that the relationship is good outside of music.” Their collaborative video has received positive feedback, picking up over 2 million views on Youtube. Along with this premiere, Lil Baby released his latest full-length project My Turn in February, before sharing an expanded Deluxe version in October.
