Grammy-winning artist Estelle has announced her brand new single ‘Love Like Ours’.

 
Estelle, the singer behind the immortal hit ‘American Boy’, has announced the release of a brand new single. ‘Love Like Ours’ featuring Tarrus Riley is scheduled for release on June 16th via VP Records.

‘Love Like Ours’ will be the lead single from Estelle’s upcoming new album. On top of this, it will be featured on the 2017 Reggae Gold compilation, also by VP Records. Ahead of its official release, VP have released an early preview of the song on YouTube. Listen below:
 

 
Befitting its inclusion on Reggae Gold, ‘Love Like Ours’ features Reggae-style production from Supa Dups, complete with rolling steel drums and muted staccato guitar stabs. As usual, Estelle’s versatile vocals are a highlight, as she delivers the track’s infectious chorus.
 
‘Love Like Ours’ has already received support from London radio, particularly from Reggae tastemakers and DJs, proving that Estelle can turn her hand to any genre with equal success. Estelle was hugely influenced by Reggae music when she grew up in London in a Senegalese/Grenadian community, so it’s no surprise to hear her exploring this kind of sonic territory.

Her 2008 hit ‘Come Over’ featuring Sean Paul and also produced by Supa Dups whet fans’ appetites for more Reggae music from Estelle. Now she’s ready to release the album, Estelle says she is “happy to give the people what they have been asking for,” and “proud to share another piece of my life and art with the world.”
