Luis Fonsi dominated the charts and the airwaves worldwide with his monster hit ‘Despacito’ featuring Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber on the remix. Now, he has collaborated with Demi Lovato on another Spanish-language smash. The pair star in a steamy accompanying video, which has already racked up over 100,000,000 YouTube hits.

2017 has been Fonsi’s biggest year to date. The singer-songwriter was the biggest winner of the night at this year’s Latin Grammys, taking home the coveted Record of the Year and Song of the Year Awards, along with Best Urban/Fusion Performance and Best Music Video (Short Version).
‘Échame La Culpa’ taps into the same well of inspiration as ‘Despacito’ before it, with an intoxicating concoction of Caribbean rhythms and modern pop trimmings. The new video was directed by Carlos Perez, who also helmed the clip for ‘Despacito’ — the most-viewed video in YouTube history, with more than four billion hits. No doubt this follow-up will become a YouTube mainstay in its own right.
Of the collaboration, the multi-platinum-selling Lovato said Fonsi is “extremely talented and I love the fact that I got to work with him.” Fonsi returned the compliments, saying “Recording with Demi was a wonderful experience.”
Luis Fonsi will promote ‘Échame La Culpa’ on his ongoing Love and Dance World Tour, which began on November 19th and has scheduled shows in Russia, Latvia, Serbia, Croatia, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
