West London’s ScruFizzer has teamed up with rising Grime star Eyez to reminisce about a classic phone on ‘3210’.
ScruFizzer dropped ‘3210’ this week and the song is gaining momentum fast. The track features fellow MC Eyez, whose career is taking off at the moment. The two MCs talk about touring, their careers, and of course being called on the classic Nokia mobile.
The track includes references to avowed grime aficionado Drake’s hit ‘Hotline Bling’, and shoutouts to Sian Anderson and Julie Adenuga, both of whom have supported Scru throughout his career. Appropriately enough, ‘3210’ officially premiered on Sian Anderson’s 1Xtra radio show.
‘3210’ boasts an instrumental produced by the Boss himself – Mischief, whose Third Dimension EP will be available on Sunday as his first vinyl release.
‘3210’ is part of ScruFizzer’s latest hot streak, coming after a “refix” of Ed Sheeran’s colossal hit ‘Shape of You’, which saw Scru remix and record fresh vocals for the track, turning it into a dirtier, more intense version.
ScruFizzer has recently been announced for Brighton’s Wildlife Festival in June, where he will appear alongside fellow grime stalwarts Stormy, JME, Dizzee Rascal, Wiley and President T.
