Scrufizzer & Vato Gonzalez release ‘Bump & Grind’

London MC Scrufizzer has teamed up with Vato Gonzalez to release the new single ‘Bump & Grind’.

The new track was premiered via Complex UK, who spoke to Gonzalez about the song’s origins. The Dutch producer revealed that the song was originally an “experiment” called ‘Bassline Riddim’. The instrumental track saw Vato Gonzalez attempting to maximise the amount of bass it was physically possible to squeeze into a track. DJ support was so big that Polydor UK reached out and asked Gonzalez to create a new version with vocals. The DJ called Scrufizzer and ‘Bump & Grind’ was born.

Vato told Complex that Scrufizzer’s “unique ‘fizzy’ flow had put him on my radar for while, so we got in touch. He nailed the record in the first session!” Fans of the original instrumental are thrilled with Scrufizzer’s addition of a catchy hook and some addictive verses. The new track has already seen major radio support, being played on BBC Radio 1’s Dance Anthems and DJ Target’s 1Xtra show.

Alongside the new single, Scrufizzer is preparing to celebrate an impressive milestone in the very near future: his popular 2017 Fire in the Booth session for Charlie Sloth’s 1Xtra programme has almost racked up a whopping 1,000,000 views on YouTube.

Book Scrufizzer now to bring the ‘Bump and Grind’ MC to your venue.
