Brian Moore: crouch, bind, inspire! | News | MN2S Talent

Legendary England rugby player Brian Moore will bring stories of his expertise, drive and determination from the rugby pitch to inspire the audience at the Civil Engineering Contractors Association in Scotland on 25th February 2016.

The Civil Engineering Contractors Association Scotland Ltd represents over 100 civil engineering contractors from sizes ranging from small rural contractors to large multinationals. The organisation maintains strong links with the Scottish Parliament, especially with its ministers for transport, infrastructure and enterprise.

Brian Moore played rugby in the amateur era, representing Nottingham, Harlequins and Richmond and over the course of his career won 64 caps for the English national team. During his career he also qualified as a solicitor as well as playing in three rugby world cups, reaching the final in 1991. He was also a member of the England side that won the Six Nations Grand Slam in 1991, 1992 and 1995.

After retiring from rugby, Moore has since made a successful transition into the media world, where he regularly appears commentating for the BBC, and is known for his outspokenness and criticism of players and referees alike.

Recognised as a an inspirational figure in the changing room in his career, owing to his habit of reading extracts from Shakespeare’s Henry V before kick-off, he has since built up a good reputation on the after dinner speaking circuit, and is available for bookings via MN2S Talent Agency.
