Dani Harmer visited Bucks Students’ Union last week to deliver a party-starting DJ set to Bucks university students. Taking place on Wednesday 9th April at The Venue, the event – which offered free entry to all students – was described as an “unforgettable night filled with fun, dance-offs and epic lip-sync battles”. Attendees were also given the chance to meet Dani and snap pictures with the television star, who is best known for portrayed the beloved character Tracy Beaker on British children’s television show The Story of Tracy Beaker.
Dani Harmer rose to prominence as the star of the hugely popular CBBC show The Story of Tracy Beaker. Playing the lead role in one of the decade’s most popular children’s TV series, she became a face and a character known to almost every British citizen of a certain age. Dani Harmer was a regular fixture on British screens for several years, appearing in five consecutive series of the original programme, along with spin-off shows Tracy Beaker Returns and The Tracy Beaker Survival Files. She’s now a successful DJ, performing multi-genre sets that feature old-school bangers, live MCing and lip-sync battles.
