Breathe Carolina, an American electronic music duo from Denver, Colorado, has made significant strides in the music industry since their formation in 2007. Initially comprised of David Schmitt and Kyle Even, the duo began their journey by recording songs using GarageBand, quickly gaining traction on platforms like Myspace. Their debut studio album, “It’s Classy, Not Classic,” released in 2008, showcased their unique blend of electropop and post-hardcore influences, earning them a dedicated fanbase and establishing their presence in the electronic music scene.

In 2009, Breathe Carolina signed with Fearless Records and released their second album, “Hello Fascination,” which peaked at number 43 on the Billboard 200. The album featured hit singles like “I.D.G.A.F.” and solidified their reputation for energetic performances, including appearances at the Vans Warped Tour. Their third album, “Hell Is What You Make It,” released in 2011, marked a turning point as they transitioned to a full band, incorporating a broader range of musical styles and achieving commercial success with the platinum-certified single “Blackout.”

The duo continued to evolve with their fourth studio album, “Savages,” released in 2014, which embraced EDM influences and showcased their growth as artists. Following lineup changes, including the departure of Even and the addition of Tommy Cooperman, Breathe Carolina released their fifth album, “Dead: The Album,” in 2019, featuring the hit single “Too Good.”
