C2C, also known as Coups2Cross, is a groundbreaking French musical group formed in 1998 in Nantes. Comprising four talented DJs—20Syl, DJ Greem, DJ Atom, and DJ pFeL—C2C has redefined the art of turntablism, transforming turntables into versatile musical instruments. Their journey began in high school, where their passion for innovative artists like DJ Qbert and DJ Shadow inspired them to create a unique sound that blends elements of electronica, trip hop, and alternative hip hop.
The group achieved remarkable success early in their career, winning the DMC World Team Championship four consecutive times from 2003 to 2006, a feat that solidified their reputation in the turntablism community. Their accolades also include the ITF World Championship title in 2005 and the Hip Hop World Challenge title, which opened doors for performances alongside renowned artists such as A-Trak and DJ Kentaro. In 2012, C2C released their debut EP “Down the Road,” followed by their first studio album “Tetra,” which garnered critical acclaim and commercial success. The album won four Victoires de la Musique awards in 2013, including Best New Artist and Best Music Video, showcasing their exceptional talent and creativity.
