Cheat Codes is an American electronic music trio based in Los Angeles, known for their innovative blend of trap, EDM, dancehall, and tropical house. Formed in 2014, the group consists of members KEVI, Trevor Dahl, and Matthew Russell. Their debut single, “Visions,” quickly climbed to the top of the Hype Machine chart, setting the stage for their future success. Following this, they released a series of popular tracks, including “Don’t Say No” and “Adventure,” which further solidified their presence in the electronic music scene.

In 2016, Cheat Codes achieved mainstream recognition with their hit single “Sex,” a collaboration with Kris Kross Amsterdam that sampled Salt-N-Pepa’s classic track. This was followed by the release of “No Promises” featuring Demi Lovato in 2017, which peaked within the top 40 in multiple countries and was certified Platinum by the RIAA, highlighting their commercial appeal.
