Clutch, an American rock band formed in 1991 in Germantown, Maryland, has made a significant impact on the music scene with their unique blend of hard rock, stoner rock, and blues rock. The band consists of Tim Sult (lead guitar), Dan Maines (bass), Jean-Paul Gaster (drums), and Neil Fallon (vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboards). Their journey began with the release of their debut album, “Transnational Speedway League,” in 1993, which showcased their raw energy and distinctive sound, quickly garnering attention in the rock community.
The band’s commercial breakthrough came with their self-titled album in 1995, which expanded their fan base and led to a series of successful releases.
