Gold Panda, known professionally as Derwin Dicker, is an acclaimed electronic record producer and songwriter from the United Kingdom, recognized for his distinctive sound and international touring success. After releasing several acclaimed 7-inch records and singles throughout 2009, Gold Panda signed with Ghostly International in 2010. This pivotal year saw the release of his debut full-length album, ‘Lucky Shiner,’ which garnered critical acclaim and firmly established his distinctive sound blending ambient textures, microhouse rhythms, and minimal techno. He has also engaged in notable collaborative efforts, including a critically received techno record with Jas Shaw of Simian Mobile Disco under the moniker Selling. Further showcasing his versatility, he regularly performs house music under the alias DJ Jenifa.
