Goldie Boutilier

Goldie Boutilier, a dynamic French-Canadian artist, has made significant strides in the music and modeling industries. Initially signed to Interscope Records under the moniker My Name Is Kay, she released her self-titled debut EP in 2011, which featured collaborations with notable artists like Pusha T and Kurtis Blow. Her debut album, My Name Is Kay, launched in 2013, showcased her versatility and garnered attention on the Canadian Hot 100, establishing her as a rising star in the pop music scene.

After parting ways with her label in 2015, Boutilier reinvented herself as Goldilox, embracing a new direction in her career. She began DJing in Paris and released her EP Skin in 2016, produced by the talented Guillaume Doubet. This period marked her transition to independent artistry, allowing her to explore her creative vision without constraints. Her second album, Very Best, released in 2018, drew inspiration from disco music and highlighted her ability to blend genres, further solidifying her place in the music industry.

In 2022, Boutilier re-emerged with her new stage name, Goldie Boutilier, releasing the single “He Thinks That I’m an Angel” and her fourth EP, Cowboy Gangster Politician. Her latest work, Emerald Year, released in November 2023, continues to showcase her evolution as an artist, reflecting her growth and maturity in sound and style.
