Hyo, known professionally as Hyoyeon and DJ Hyo, is a South Korean singer, dancer, rapper, and television personality, offering expertise in performance, entertainment, and fashion. After making her official debut in August 2007 as a pivotal member of Girls’ Generation under SM Entertainment, Hyo quickly rose to prominence within the K-Pop industry. The group’s debut single ‘Into the New World’ preceded their self-titled debut studio album in November 2007. A significant milestone followed in January 2009 with their EP ‘Gee,’ which captivated audiences and held the number-one position on KBS’s Music Bank for an unprecedented nine consecutive weeks, setting a new record at the time.

Most recently, Hyo released the single ‘Retro Romance’ in 2024, maintaining her dynamic presence across music and entertainment.
